About Me

Creativity isn’t reserved for a select few.

That belief sits at the heart of everything I make. I create because I’ve learned the tools, the materials, and the patience it takes to bring an idea to life. I can create because I have the knowledge, the desire, and the willingness to keep showing up — even when the outcome isn’t predictable.

When I decided to start a business, many people suggested names tied to “Robin’s Nest.” It made sense — my name is Robin, and I create art for the home. But nests aren’t built all at once. They’re gathered slowly, intentionally, piece by piece.

That’s where One Twig at a Time came from.

Our homes are curated the same way — one lighting fixture, one piece of art, one meaningful detail at a time. Each choice adds to the story, the comfort, and the feeling of home. My work is meant to be part of that process, not rushed or overwhelming, but thoughtful and lasting.

Some of my pieces are carefully planned. Others, especially my epoxy work, take on a life of their own. I’ve learned that perfection doesn’t come from control, but from knowing when to guide a piece and when to step back. Each one finishes the way it’s meant to, through my hands, not despite them.

But this business isn’t just about what I can make.

It’s about what you can make, too.

Through finished pieces, DIY kits, and hands-on projects, my goal is to invite others into that same realization: creativity grows over time, through small, intentional choices — one twig at a time.
